This year Ben and I had both of our family parties on the same day. This picture above is from the Johnson party. Troy and Rachel were in charge of it this year and they did a great job. Their family had the opportunity to go to Mexico this Fall and build house's for people who are less fortunate so for there project they asked if everyone would donate items so that we could make little hygiene kits for families who needed it. They had toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, hand towels, candy, little toys those are just a few of the items we assembled them and put them into bags. It was a great experience to know that just something so small like that will help out someone who needs it so much. Great Party Troy and Rachel.

This is my cute little nephew McKay. If you give him a toy that makes noise he is in 7th heaven.
This is my side of the family. My Mom does a family party every year and it is based on one of the missions that someone served in. She started with the oldest and has worked her way down. We always have food from where ever that person has served and the entire night is themed around it. This year it was my brother Rick's turn he served in Costa Rica so we had rice and beans for dinner. It was good food. It is always fun learning about the mission of that person and learning more about the culture of that country or state.
